Classic Deep V Pullover Pattern
This classic sweater is worked top down beginning with the back upper body. The shoulders are picked up and worked in rows with a gradual increase to form the deep “v” shape. The piece is increased near the underarm then joined for knitting in the round. The lower body is worked in the round and finishes with a 1x1 rib with an Italian or sewn bind off. The sleeves are picked up and knit. The shape of the sleeves is created with a rapid decrease in the upper bicep, then worked straight for the rest of the sleeve. Like the body, the sleeve finishes with a 1x1 rib and Italian Bind Off.
